CallDesigner Technical Information
CallDesigner empowers users to create any inbound or outbound IVR application. It allows users to create complex call flows without coding, shielding them from the complexity of VoiceXML. In addition, all of the audio resources, logic and call flows are bundled together to enable developers to test in design time.
To design your voice application, CallDesigner includes a variety of easy-to-use, pre-built menu options that walk the user through the steps necessary to build a campaign without any coding. These menu options include:
- Audios are the audio files to be used in the presentation. Audio clips used can be custom-built, custom text-to-speech, pre-recorded or text-to-speech
- A Parameter is the repository of data entities that need to be delivered with the Presentation in run time
- Fields are the repository of the definitions of information that needs to be captured from callees
- Forms are the repository of the forms that are presented to the callee. A Form is the smallest functional unit within a Presentation. The delivery of the various forms in a presentation in a user-defined sequence constitutes the call flow of the Presentation
- A Call Flow is a read-only, tree-type flow diagram that helps in navigating the Presentation (See Following Call Flow Diagram)
