SkyCreek Completes Spin-Off From CommWorks Corporation
SkyCreek also signs contract to provide support services for CommWorks customers throughout North America
Herndon, VA, February 15, 2005: SkyCreek Corporation the leader in delivering Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Technology, IVR Applications, and custom IVR Solutions, announced today that it has completed its spin-off from CommWorks Corporation, a 3Com Company.
SkyCreek will focus on the development of pre-built IVR applications and custom IVR solutions, service activation solutions, service order assurance solutions, and fall-out management solutions for the communications industry. In addition, as part of the spin-off, SkyCreek has entered into a contract with CommWorks Corporation to provide development, test, implementation, and maintenance support for the operational support systems currently under maintenance contracts with CommWorks.
With more than 200 years of communication industry experience in the management team, SkyCreek is well positioned to succeed in the market, said Steve Schaffer, Vice President, CommWorks Corporation, a 3Com Company. He further stated, "That he is looking forward to continuing the business relationship between our two firms to support our existing customers in the coming years.
Regarding SkyCreek's outlook, "as a result of our initial contract with CommWorks Corporation, the company is starting off with positive financial outlook" said Bob Saunders, Chief Operating Officer, of the new company. Moreover, "I fully expect to achieve profitability in our first fiscal year," Wilburn continued.
